McDonald, Johnston Win Twice As Princeton Sweeps Past Columbia 202-98

Margaux McDonald and Sabrina Johnston won two individual events each as the Princeton women’s swimming and diving team defeated Columbia 202-98 Friday morning in DeNunzio Pool.
Princeton won all 16 events on the day to improve its record to 8-0 before heading to Christsburg, Va.., to swim against Virginia Tech and Penn State Saturday.
McDonald won the 50 breaststroke and 100 breaststroke, while Johnston took the 50 and 100 butterfly races. Princeton’s other individual winners were Nathalie Valdman (500 free), Dakota Tucker (200 free), Alexa Pappas (50 backstroke), Ela Noble (50 free), Heidi Smithwick (100 free), Liza Whitmire (100 back), Jess Yeager (200 IM) and Eleanor Sun (100 IM).
Princeton also won the two relays, as Isabella Korbly, Kamila Isaieva, Eliza Brown and Donata Katai took the 200 medley relay and Smithwick, Noble, Edie Simecek and Sun took the final event of the day, the 200 free relay.
