DOHA, Qatar Emilia Nilsson Garip and Elias Petersen completed their time at the World Aquatics Championships on Saturday by placing sixth in the Mixed 3m Synchronised diving competition.
 
The competition consisted of five total dives, with Nilsson Garip and Petersen’s highest ranked effort being the 301B, where their score of 44.40 ranked fifth out of 17 teams.
 
Nilsson Garip got the world championships started for the Utes on Feb. 2, when she earned a 10th place finish in the finals of the women’s 1m and Petersen garnered the chance to compete in two individual events. The Malmo, Sweden native placed 28th in the men’s 1m and took 41st in the men’s 3m.
