Junior Aviah Dahlgren (Honesdale, Pa./Wyoming Seminary) of The University of Scranton women’s swimming & diving team registered two first-place finishes in Saturday’s dual meet victory over Susquehanna and has been named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
This marks Dahlgren’s third Landmark Athlete of the Week award this season.
The Honesdale, Pa., native won the 200 free with a time of 2:00.68 and the 200 back in 2:13.00 to help lead the Royals to a 209-68 victory over the River Hawks. Dahlgren also swam a leg for the Royals’ victorious 200 medley and 400 free relay teams.
Scranton will close out the dual meet portion of its season on Saturday afternoon at Drew with action getting underway at 1 p.m.
