GENEVA, OH. – Azusa Pacific concluded the 2023-24 season after five days of competition at the DII Swimming & Diving Championships in Geneva, Ohio. The Cougars finished 22nd as a team, earning 54.50 points. Montana White secured her fourth All-American honor, while both White and Amanda Anderson swam personal best times and broke school records they previously set in the last day of the meet.
On the final day, White swam in the 100 Free, while Anderson competed in the 200 Breast. White swam a personal best time touching the wall at 50.22 to go to the finals later today. Anderson also swam a personal best and broke her own school record with a time 2:18.64.
In the 100 Free finals, White secured her fourth All-American honor in as many days at the 2024 DII Swimming & Diving Championships with a sixth place finish and another personal best of 50.16, dropping her time .06 seconds from prelims. This time also broke the school record she currently holds.
The Cougars had another successful year in the lanes and on the boards, earning a third place finish at the PCSC Championships, while securing a 22nd place finish in the nation at the DII Swimming & Diving Championships. White made Azusa Pacific history, being the first swimmer to earn four NCAA All-American honors at nationals and scoring the most points of any swimmer in program history with 53.
As the Cougars close out this season, they have plenty to look forward to as they prepare for the 2024-25 season.
